Telekom Netztausbau: Glasfaser für fast 7.000 Unternehmen

Fast 7.000 Unternehmen in 78 weiteren Städten und Gemeinden können vom Glasfaserausbau der Telekom in deutschen Gewerbegebieten profitieren.
Die Telekom will den Unternehmen Verbindungen mit Höchst-Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 1 GBit/s bieten. „Die Zukunft ist Glas,“ sagt Jean-Pascal Roux, Leiter Wohnungswirtschaft und Breitbandausbau Geschäftskunden der Telekom Deutschland. „Eine flächendeckende und zukunftssichere Breitbandversorgung ist für Deutschland von außerordentlicher Bedeutung. Sie ist die Basis für seine Wirtschafts- und Innovationsstärke, aber auch für die gesellschaftliche Teilhabe seiner Menschen. Deswegen gehört ein leistungsstarker Glasfaseranschluss jetzt und für die kommenden Generationen so selbstverständlich in jedes Haus, in jede Gewerbeeinheit, wie es der Telefonanschluss in den letzten 100 Jahren war. Diese Verantwortung für Deutschland gehört zur Identität der Telekom.“
Zu den Kommunen, deren Gewerbegebiete ausgebaut werden, gehören: Ahrensburg, Albstadt, Altdorf, Bad Salzungen, Bardowick, Bensheim, Berlin, Bocholt, Bruchmühlbach-Miesau, Celle, Darmstadt, Deggendorf, Delbrück, Delmenhorst, Dessau-Roßlau, Dormettingen, Dülmen, Ellerau, Emstek, Friedewald, Gammertingen, Gescher, Goslar, Göttingen, Hamburg, Heideck, Herrieden, Husum, Illmensee, Jena, Jungingen, Kabelsketal, Kirchheim, Köln, Langelsheim, Lastrup, Lauf, Leipzig, Lichtenfels, Lübeck, Lünen, Magdeburg, Mainz, Mannheim, Marburg, Melle, Menden, Mönchengladbach, Moosburg, Morbach, Morsbach, Mülheim, München, Neuwied, Niederdorfelden, Nordhorn, Nortorf, Prenzlau, Ravensburg, Röhrnbach, Rottenburg, Rudersberg, Saarbrücken, Schwerte, Siegsdorf, Sprockhövel, Syke, Teltow, Tübingen, Ummendorf, Unna, Wassertrüdingen, Weilheim, Weißenburg, Weiterstadt, Wennigsen, Wesseling und Zirndorf.
Die Telekom wird für das aktuelle Projekt fast 560 Kilometer Glasfaser verlegen und die Unternehmen ans Glasfaser-Netz anbinden. Beim Gewerbegebiets-Ausbau soll das Trenching-Verfahren angewendet werden. Es ist zeitsparend, nachhaltig und kosteneffizient im Ausbau. Außerdem führt es zu kürzeren Bauzeiten und damit zu weniger Belastungen für die Anwohner.
Die Unternehmen werden ohne zusätzliche Kosten angeschlossen. Voraussetzung ist, dass sie sich früh für einen Anschluss an das Glasfaser-Netz entscheiden. Das Angebot auf Glasfaser reicht vom asymmetrischen 100 MBit/s bis zum symmetrischen 1 GBit/s-Anschluss. Selbst direkte Übertragungswege mit bis zu 100 GBit/s bietet die Telekom an.
Die Telekom investiert jährlich rund sechs Milliarden Euro in Deutschland und betreibt mit mehr als 650.000 Kilometer das größte Glasfaser-Netz in Europa.
